Les Halles se encuentran en un edificio, cuya estructura metálica de estilo baltardiano es tan interesante de recorrer por dentro como por fuera. Este mercado cubierto, construido por André Gabelle y el arquitecto Léopold Carlier, se abrió al público el 1 de enero de 1901. La mezcla de acero y cristal hace de este hermoso edificio un centro de abastecimiento ideal tanto para los lugareños como para los veraneantes.

El mercado merece una visita, siempre está entre los más bonitos de cada año, pero para comer....tiene normalmente precios bastante más altos que lo que hay por fuera. Es como el supermercado que hay cruzando la calle, es el doble de caro que los demás.
Relación del precio con calidad!?

Pensando que alrededor hay muchos sitios, que no conozco ni una décima parte, algo encontrarás....Para hacernos una idea, la típica "piece de boucher" (de lo que recuerdo) estaba por encima de los 20 euros. Ese plato solía estar 13-16 euros (hace un año, hoy todo estará más caro).
Las hamburguesas tienen buena pinta y los comentarios de los compis fueron positivos
Eso sí el tomate del pan con tomate y jamón...es más bien salmorejo! pero estaba bueno!
